1. Overview
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how DangcingAI ("we", "us", or "the Service", accessible at https://dangcingai.com) collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Sign-in data (via Google OAuth) — when you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name and avatar URL from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
- Task inputs — the video URLs you paste, video files you upload, and any custom text or creative prompts you provide.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage / log data — IP address, browser User-Agent, HTTP referer, timestamps and request paths, used only for operations and abuse prevention.
- Task metadata — task IDs, created/finished times, the language / mode / voice you chose, processing status and the duration of the generated video.
- Cookies / session — a session cookie to keep you signed in, plus third-party analytics cookies (see §4).
2.3 Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your Google password or any other credentials;
- We do not read local files you have not explicitly submitted;
- We do not proactively collect sensitive personal data (e.g. government IDs, bank accounts, health information);
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. How We Use Information
- To deliver the core service: fetch the video, generate the AI dub, and produce the final downloadable file;
- To tie tasks to your account so you can view, replay or delete them from "My History";
- When you explicitly opt-in by toggling "Share", to display your work on the Showcase page;
- To diagnose errors, prevent abuse and monitor service quality;
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful enforcement requests.
4. Cookies and Third-party Services
The Service uses the following third-party tools:
- Google OAuth (authentication) — processes your sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics (traffic analytics) — collects anonymised page-view and event data (with IP truncation) used for product improvement. You may opt out via your browser's privacy mode or the GA opt-out browser add-on.
- Third-party video platforms — when you paste a YouTube, X / Twitter, Bilibili (etc.) link, we fetch the publicly accessible video content from those platforms. You are responsible for confirming that you have the right to use that video (see the Terms of Service).
- Outbound link: X / @DangcingAI — when you tap a Follow button you are taken to x.com, after which X's privacy policy applies.
The Service does not serve ad-network tracking cookies and does not share your personal information with advertisers.
5. User Content (videos you create)
- Private by default — tasks you create and the videos they produce are visible only to you and require sign-in to access from "My History".
- Opt-in publishing — a task only appears on Showcase if you manually toggle "Share" in your history. You can "Unshare" at any time and it disappears immediately.
- Source videos — we cache source videos only for the duration of processing and clean them up per the retention schedule below.
6. Data Retention
- Finished task outputs and metadata: kept until you delete them, or up to 30 days after account closure;
- Logs for failed tasks: up to 30 days for troubleshooting;
- Session cookies: up to 30 days;
- Access logs: up to 90 days;
- Google Analytics data: governed by Google's default retention (typically 14 months).
7. Security
We apply industry-standard safeguards: HTTPS in transit, least-privilege database access, secret isolation and periodic backups. That said, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
8. Your Rights
Regardless of whether GDPR, CCPA or similar laws apply in your jurisdiction, you may:
- Access your task records (signed-in users in "My History");
- Delete any individual task (soft-deleted, permanently purged after 30 days);
- Request account deletion by emailing support@dangcingai.com;
- Request a copy of your data through the same email;
- Withdraw consent — sign out and stop using the Service at any time.
We respond to reasonable requests within 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (16 in some jurisdictions; whichever your local law requires). If we discover we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under that age, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians with concerns may contact support@dangcingai.com.
10. International Data Transfers
Our servers and sub-processors may be located outside your country / region. By using the Service you consent to such cross-border transfers. We take reasonable steps to ensure that data protection during transfer and processing is not lower than what your local law requires.
11. Third-party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party sites (X, YouTube, Google, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please read their respective privacy policies when you visit them.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will signal material changes by (a) updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, (b) posting a prominent notice on the Service and (c) emailing signed-in users at their on-file address. Continued use of the Service after the update means you accept it.
13. Governing Language
The English version of this Policy is the legally binding version. Translations into other languages are for reference only; in case of any conflict, the English version controls.
